Steve Halsell, CFP®, ChFC®, RICP®, CASL® (B.S. '05)
Steve Halsell graduated from the Florida State University College of Business with degrees in Finance and Management. He has pursued additional education and designations in order to stay on the cutting edge of research and information for his clients. Steve is a Financial Planner with Prudential and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and is also a Chartered Financial Consultant® and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living®. These designations allow him to serve his clients in their planning needs no matter their stage in life. Steve is married and has two daughters. He loves living in the community of Tallahassee and most of his time away from the office is spent with his family or running. Steve began running in 2010 and has not stopped since; he enjoys competitive running and has run events ranging from a 5K to an ultramarathon.
Anthony McDonald (MSW '11)
Anthony McDonald graduated from Florida State University with a Master’s in Social Work and earned a degree in History at Columbus State University. Before joining Florida State, Anthony worked abroad for seven years as head of Marketing for an international company for seven years. Anthony has been the Program Manager of the Financial Planning Program at Florida State University for nine years. In this time, he has also completed the Certificate in Financial Planning at FSU. Blending his clinical social work experience with his knowledge of the Financial Planning Program helps him guide students through their journey completing the program at FSU. Anthony is married and together he and his wife have called Tallahassee home for 12 years. He loves hiking at state parks, cycling, and traveling everywhere and anywhere.
